Granular prices
Granular prices have slipped again this week with business topping out at the mid-$140s/t cfr.
End-users are now targeting $140/t cfr for January shipments, but some domestic Chinese traders are said to be bidding closer to $150/t cfr because of the pick up in domestic Yn/t prices across the week.
In the crushed lump market, business remains muted, but prices at around $140/t cfr are said to be realistic by some buyers.
Late last week a trade was concluded near $150/t cfr via a trader for ex-Middle East sulphur, but as this week has progressed business has been concluded in the mid-$140s/t cfr by traders to Chinese end-users and a small 8,000t cargo of Vietnamese sulphur has also been sold in the low-$140s/t cfr.
