Sulphur prices

Freight market summary Voyage ($/t) fertilizer freight rates ticked down this week though time charter ($/day) rates held relatively steady — or even trended up in some cases — as the cost of fuel continued to decline. Bunker fuel prices have fallen by around $100/t on most grades in the last month with 380cst viscosity high sulphur material in Rotterdam now down to $367.25/t. The decline in fuel prices has been accelerating and charterers are pushing harder for lower rates that are in line with current time charter market. There were no fertilizer cargoes booked on the open market for now.
