This year the total global debt reached 246.5 trillion dollars with a +193% surge in comparison with the previous year.
The Total global debt to GDP ratio raised from 228% in 2000 to 300% in 2009 and reached 319% in 2019 which is an unprecedented level ever.
Iran government debt to GDP is also 44.2% of the GDP which is a low rate in comparison to other countries. (Turkey 30.4%, Japan 238%, Italy 134%, Germany 60.9% and Qatar 48.4%)
