According to Bloomberg, currently 20 of the richest Asian families hold a total of about USD 450 billion of fortune.
Having a review on the list of richest Asian families, Ambani family of India are ranked first on the list with an approximate USD 50 billion of fortune. This family initiated their business with only USD 100 and now they are governing the retail market.
After Ambanis, comes Kowk family from Hong Kong and Chearavanont from Thailand stay at the third place. The list indicates how some economies may grow wealth in spite of their dominant inequality.
