The Managing Director of National Petrochemical Company (NPC) declared that the total revenue of Iran petrochemical industry is $17 billion. 44 petrochemical products are produced in Iran, 18 of which are polymer products that have 300 various grades. Therefore totally 350 petrochemical products are manufactured in Iran.
He added that there are 56 active petrochemical complexes in Iran. Totally 31 million MT of petrochemical products are produced in Iran and 22~22.5 million MT of them are exported while the 8.5 million MT of them are used in domestic market.
