Yesterday statistical center of Iran reported that spot inflation rate and monthly inflation rate have both decreased however the annual inflation rate increased.
According to Bayazid Mardookhi, an economist: “ people’s understanding of inflation or its effects does not match the published statistics. Statistics are crucial for analyzers to be able to set their approaches.
This expert also stated :” often the published data does not match reality and mostly people do not find them in consonant with their real lives. It’s good to hear the inflation rate has reduced but it is still so high that they almost never experienced before.
According to Mardookhi, supply of basic goods which are determinant in people’s lives is still in progress however rising the prices is either requested by market (suppliers) or other factors which depend on producer or consumer’s future expectations.
