The head of Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO) declared that Iran is so hopeful about Chinese investment in Iranian ports and Chinese authorities announced their interest in this regard. He visited Ningbo port of China as the fourth biggest port worldwide in his travel to China and both parties signed a twinning agreement.
Also Iran asked China to solve the problems that Iranian traders usually face in Chinese ports and a positive and excellent meeting was held with Chinese transport deputy.
He continued that China consider Iranian seaports as good strategic points for investment. Specifically China is going to construct logistical centers in Iranian ports, develop infrastructures, and equip port terminals which seem so attractive for foreign investors with the high quantities that are loaded and discharged in Iranian ports.
