Over 113 aquaculture plans (2900 milliard Rials) are going to be opened in Iran at the same time with government week. 5500 MT of products will be produces and around 2700 workers will go to work in these plans. Though to the sanctions against Iran in last 40 years, the export of aquatic products had ramped up from 1262000 MT from 32000 MT (before the revolution of the Islamic Republic of Iran).
Last year 527 million dollar of aquatic products were exported from Iran. Shrimp farming, sturgeon, cyprinidae and new methods of fishing are some of the improvements in this regard.
